The Westmoreland District is the Northwest most district of the Greater Alabama Council. Serving The Shoals metropolitan area and surrounding communities, the district gets its name from Camp Westmoreland, one of America's oldest Boy Scout camps, located on the banks of Shoal Creek between Florence and Killen.
The district offers many small to medium sized Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, and Venturing Crews.
